Elstar is introducing brand new 2014 model RFZ Mini Cross bikes. Three RFZ models designed for different riders from beginners to experts. RFZ125 and RFZ140 are in its open class and RFZ150 elite S is in the top class.
Three models have the same racing DNA. Frame is initially designed and developed in France after the factory racing team wining the French championship title in 2012. With passion the Mini Cross RFZ bikes are successfully designed and manufactured, the best bike to compete.
RFZ is designed by riders and for riders. Thatís why every RFZ follows the logic of the race so that you never get tired, so that the ergonomics fit perfectly, so that no additional ballast is carried, so that every maintenance task is particularly easy, so that they reliably withstand the hardest of tests, where they reveal their decisive advantage.
Letís take a close look at the RFZ150 Elite S top of the line model:
Designed in France and tested in competition by the French champion Alexandre Barbosa. Central tubular frame tubes with maximum tensional stiffness to ensure greater directional stability. With its completely innovative design the delicacy of the frame, the position of the footrests, and the caster angle allow much greater manoeuvrability driving.
The large volume VOLT silencer impresses with performance combined with low weight and adheres reliably to the strict noise limits.
The VOLT shock absorber has been specially developed for the frame concept. Along with the compression damping, the rebound damping can be adapted individually to any track or rider. For the new model it has been tuned to be stiffer with more damping. The result: the finest possible responsiveness, outstanding traction and no end of reserves when it comes to bottoming-out. (Adjustable shock only on RFZ150 Elite S model, RFZ125 and RFZ140 does not have adjustable shock)
Front brake calliper has double pistons, simple piston for the rear one, in conjunction with very light wave brake discs.
The VOLT 38 mm upside down is fully adjustable with compression and rebound damping setting. (RFZ150 elite S model only) The hydraulic system ensures perfect responsiveness throughout the entire suspension travel and consistent damping when pushed to the limit. The AM Racing parts aluminium triple clamps, CNC-machines from a solid black, provide a noticeable boost to flexing and sliding behaviour.
No coincidence: AM racing parts high-end rims featuring CNC machined hubs and KENDA tires as standard. The standard wheels feature to have black spokes series.
